As a lover of the outdoors, I was very comfortable working with wood. Of special interest - wood carving and utility making. What began as a recreation, slowly turned into a serious hobby.

LOVE THY 'NEIGH'BOR
	•	A portrayal of two horses in a mating ritual, one grooming the neck of the other on a rectangular piece of hardwood 10" x 8".
	•	The background was painted black followed by a double coat of varnish. Used as a wall plaque.
	•	Tools used - mallet, chisel, regular file and sandpaper.

P-BOX
	•	A sturdy 3.5" x 3.5" x 1.5" box made by assembling separately cut plywood sheets.
	•	The box was then decorated using a combination of water colors and sketch pens. Used for storing pins, cards and other stationery.
